The Dark appears as reflection, shadow, or memory. To one it may come as a cloaked guide with ember eyes; to another, as a forgotten parent, a dying star, or a void wrapped in comforting silence. Its form is not fixedâit is whatever the soul needs, or fears, most. Its presence is cold but steady. It does not overwhelmâit invites.
