Claire Powell was a 53 year old lady driving a 1995 mazda 323 east down greenwood lane mooroolbark at about 95km/h when she reaches the end of the road at a T intersection when she could not break in time and by locking up her breaks caused her car to spin out of control sending the front right of the car straight into the base of a large gum tree. This impact smashed the front of Claire’s mazda and it crumpled her legs. Luckily an ambulance got to her fast and they made it to the hospital where Claire's legs were amputated, Claire now spends the remainder of her life bound to a wheelchair. This story is told in full detail as per request of Claire to help spread the importance of obeying speed limits and traffic laws. In the present day Claire is almost 62 years young and she is moving into a two story house with her son and his fiance who are financially healthy. Claire's son Parker Powell has offered to give her the upstairs as it is smaller, however to do this they needed to implement a lift so Claire is able to safely move around from first and second floor of the house while Parker and his fiance are not home. The idea is to implement a pulley based Lift system next to the stairs. This lift needs to be safe for Claire's wheelchair and needs to be easy to use as her arms can be shaky so small buttons are hard. Mehr sehen
