A tattoo design: Subject: an open hand (as if holding something, from the side); a treble clef; and a feather (as if for writing) come together in one cohesive, tribal-inspired design. The tribal design should include concentric circles radiating outward with traditional maori tattoo elements and intricate linework. style: tribal, linework, not too heavy elements: as mentioned above. these elements should be connected through tribal patterns in a way that feels seamless and natural. they will need to be similar in treatment in order for this to work. they should be small and similar in size to one another and can inetgrate into the rest of the tribal design in a way that doesn't feel like one is overpowering the other. size / shape: this is intended to sit on a shoulder blade but have elemnents that come across the shoulder and down the arm, wrapping over the top of the shoulder and across the bicep. it's for my dad so doesn't have to be too feminine or delicate. perhaps the elements that can extend over the shoulder somehow come from the individual subjects inside, eg a line coming outward from the nib of the feather (as if written), or similar. sunrays or waves would not go amiss either if they fit in there.
