The ORDER’s purpose is to investigate, explore, and map the inside of caves that humans themselves can’t quite get into (yet). It uses a combination of LIDAR, cameras, and GPS to explore where we cannot. Archaeologists would drive it into a cave or other small space and once inside, fire the LIDAR to get the physical footprint of the cave. This will show any hazards that may block the way, or disrupt the robots mission. After the cave has been mapped, the cameras show the cave and possibly artifacts. If an artifact is found, archaeologists know where to look. A remote controlled robot Compact size; able to investigate small spaces Onboard camera allows for live viewing Lithium ion battery provides extended battery life Wheels capture energy for extra battery life. A segmented body and all terrain tracks help to navigate rough terrain It’s exact measurements are 5 inches (12.7 cm) long, 1.25 inches (3.175 cm) tall, and is 1 inch (2.54 cm) in diameter this is a 3 sectioned archaeology robot make a real world image of what it could look like it has wheels in the front and tracks in the back it has three sections so that it can maneuver rough terrain Ver mais
