"A rare, newly discovered authentic historical BW photograph from May 5, 1941, showing the harbor of Gotenhafen (Gdynia). Wide panoramic high-angle shot from the harbor hills. In the foreground, the massive battleship Tirpitz is moored alongside the concrete pier (Nabrzeze Francuskie), with sailors visible on deck. Out on the open waters of the roadstead (Reede), about 1.5 km out, the majestic battleship Bismarck is anchored, long and imposing. In the water between them, the small fleet yacht 'Hela' is steaming outward to the Bismarck, leaving a white wake. The weather is slightly overcast with soft Baltic sunlight. The photo has genuine 1940s color film texture, slight vintage grain, authentic soft focus, natural desaturated historic tones, and no digital artifacts. It looks like an untouched original photo found in a German military archive." Ver mais
