Page 1: Capri and his friends were almost old enough to become a butterfly. âI hope we can go into our cocoons soon!â Capri said. âMe too!â Cammie, Capri's best friend, replied. They then got ready for bed and went to sleep for the night. Page 2: When Capri woke up 3 of his friends were in their cocoons! âWow!â Capri said. I hope I go into my cocoon tomorrow! The next day the same thing happened. Page 3: During the next couple of days all of Capriâs friends became cocoons. âWhy canât I be a cocoon yet?â Capri wondered Page 4: âI will find a way!â Capri decided so he set off on a journey to try things that will help him go into his cocoon. Page 5: The first thing Capri thought to do was to eat a leaf from the top of the tree he was living in. Maybe those leaves would be better than the leaves he was eating in the middle of the tree. Page 6: Capri made it to the top of the tree and ate a leaf at the top. He didnât feel anything different. So he went back down. Page 7: But Capri wasnât giving up yet. Maybe he had to leave his tree and find some berry bushes nearby. Page 8: Capri made it to the ground and ate some berries from berry bushes but still didnât feel any different. So he went back. Page 9: Capri went to bed. When he woke up the next morning he still wasnât in his cocoon yet. Page 10: âI just donât know what to do!â Capri cried. But then a butterfly flew by him.
