Your Challenge: Your group has been hired to “sell” a CTE pathway to your classmates! Your goal is to teach your classmates about the pathway and convince them that it is worth exploring. You are not trying to convince everyone to choose a career in this pathway. You are showing them why someone might enjoy a career in this field. Step 1: Learn About Your CTE Pathway Your group will be assigned a CTE pathway. Work together to find information about the pathway and the careers connected to it. Your project must include: 1. Name of your CTE Pathway A student-friendly explanation of what the pathway is 2. Careers List at least 3 careers connected to your pathway. Choose 1 career to feature. 3. What Do They Do? For your featured career, explain at least 3 things a person in this career does. 4. Skills Needed List at least 4 skills someone would need for this career. 5. Education & Training Explain what education or training is needed after high school. College? Trade school? Certification? On-the-job training? 6. Why Choose This Career? Give at least 3 reasons someone might enjoy this career. 7. The Catch Every career has challenges! Explain at least 1 challenge someone might face in this career. 8. Interesting Fact Find 1 interesting fact about the career or pathway that your classmates might not know. 9.
