IMPORTANT COMPOSITION: The woman must NOT be centered. She must NOT be the dominant central subject. She should be positioned clearly off-center, preferably in the far right third of the image, deeper inside the bar, leaving a large amount of negative space and ordinary bar scenery between the viewer and her. The scene is seen from the perspective of a man sitting at the counter of a small, ordinary French neighborhood bar at night. In the foreground and left side of the composition, subtly suggest the seated narrator: part of his shoulder, arm, glass, the edge of the counter, perhaps his silhouette seen from behind. He is observing the room. He must remain mostly undefined and secondary. The bar itself occupies most of the composition: a counter, a few stools, glasses, bottles, tables, walls, dim lighting and several men standing around the counter. Everything is drawn with very sparse, unfinished, thin pencil and ink lines. The men look ordinary and repetitive, absorbed in their conversations, almost blending into the background. Their faces should not be detailed. Then, in the FAR RIGHT THIRD of the image, near the entrance or just inside the room, a woman has just arrived. She is seen from BEHIND or in a subtle THREE-QUARTER REAR VIEW. She is NOT looking at the viewer. She is NOT posing. She is Ver mais
