​The Great Fairytale of Miep and Pieterdraak ​It was a scorching summer day of 29 degrees. It was truly hot and warm. Miep lived in her little house high on the mountain by the very large round stone. Up there, there was no road, no path, and no trail at all. Miep stood there by her house in her white swimsuit because it was so hot. ​She knew it very well: she had to stay on that stone and not walk any further. Because that stone was unpredictable and sometimes extremely slippery. She knew: if you fall there, it’s "pief paf, splat beef dead." It was dangerous for Pieterdraak too; if she were to slip while walking on the stone, it would be "pief paf, splat beef dead" for the dragon as well. ​Miep shouted as loud as she could: "Pieterdraak!
