Design Specs: 4' x 36" Reverse Flow Smoker (Self-Feeding) ​1. Main Cooking Chamber ​Dimensions: 48" Long x 36" Diameter Pipe (1/4" Steel). ​Reverse Flow Baffle: 1/4" Plate welded air-tight to the sides. ​Baffle Gap: 7.5" gap at the far end (opposite the firebox) for smoke to "turn." ​Drainage: 1" NPT grease drain at the lowest point, sloped away from firebox. ​Stack: 6" Diameter, ~40" tall. Collect smoke at grate level (same side as firebox). ​2. Gravity-Fed Firebox (Self-Feeding) ​Dimensions: 24" x 24" x 24" (1/4" Steel). ​Internal Chute: 12" x 12" vertical sleeve centered or toward the back. ​Burn Zone: Bottom 6"–8" of the chute where fuel meets the grate. ​The Grate: 1/2" rebar or heavy expanded metal, 6" above the firebox floor. ​Loading Lid: Must be 100% air-tight with a high-temp gasket and toggle clamps. ​Ash Pit: Sealed lower chamber for ash collection and fan mounting. ​3. Airflow & Forced Air (Forced Air Setup) ​Fan Intake: 2" NPT nipple mounted to the ash pit (below the grate). ​Fan Spec: 50–75 CFM variable speed blower controlled by PID. ​Throat Opening: ~110–120 sq. in. crescent opening leading under the baffle plate. ​Fueling: Mix 4" wood chunks with lump charcoal in the chute for a 12+ hour burn. ​4.
