Tooth and Nail — Final Design, With Fur Addition Warhammer 40,000 concept art: a pair of relic gauntlets with fully articulated fingers for normal hand use, worn by a Primarch-scale warrior. The knuckle section of each gauntlet is sculpted to resemble a great lion's paw, thick and padded, with retractable curved claws shown mid-deployment, snapping forward from housings in the knuckles, long and blade-like with a chain-toothed inner edge. A thick mantle of coarse, dark tawny-gold beast fur, trophy-taken and weathered, wraps each wrist and forearm cuff, evoking a great predator hunted on an ancient feudal world. A Nostramo-pattern bolter is integrated along the back of the hand and forearm, sleek and angled so it does not obstruct the claws when extended. Dark gunmetal plating inlaid with faint glowing gold veining, emerald green accent plating along the forearm beneath the fur, a small purple gem set at the wrist joint. The design should evoke hunger and slaughter, predatory and primal, part relic weapon and part hunting trophy.
