The Lamborghini Countach V4 Superbike is a conceptual design of a motorcycle created by Italian designer Marcello Gandini in 1974. This design imagines what a superbike from the Italian supercar maker Lamborghini could potentially look like if the company ever decided to produce such a product. The name “Countach” is a word from the Piedmontese dialect, meaning "contagion," but it has evolved to express an exclamation of wonder, similar to saying "wow" in English. This meaning of the name should be reflected in the design at first impression by the Viewer. The proposed design for the Countach V4 Superbike is heavily influenced by the distinct Lamborghini style seen in their supercars. This design includes a tubular steel frame with a single-sided swingarm and is powered by a 1000cc V4 engine. Its aesthetic is reminiscent of the angular lines and clean surfaces seen in the Lamborghini Countach models.
