The monster opened its jaws, “Come with me or I cut their throats,” It said, its voice horrible and loud. There was no choice, I got on its back and watched as it carried me into the rain. We travelled for a very long time through the storm, and by the time we stopped it was light. We were on a large island shaped like a star, and all was quiet. On one half lived the people, they had built a wall across it, blocking out the wild sea monsters on the other side. High, dark green foliage met the cold concrete walls, covered in ice, snow lay everywhere. The sea-monsters didn’t seem to care, they wore thick cloaks of fur, one threw a cloak towards me. I was then shoved into a large cage, the monster who had carried me was replaced by a large and hideous one with green skin, goat horns and a cow nose. He sat eating, tearing at the chicken leg in his hand. “King Vale will come soon.” The monster said, spitting saliva and pieces of food everywhere. “Who's King Vale?” I stammered, “What am I doing here!?” He just grunted and continued eating. I sat in the dank cage, head on knees and my long wet auburn hair plastered to my body. Suddenly I heard a commotion and lots of monsters ran past me…if you could call it running. “The King, the King!” I heard shouts. The monster who was eating and supervising me got up in a hurry with a crooked smile on his face, and ran the other way, completely forgetting about me.
