A grand, ornate ancient Greek krater depicting a general in a chariot with soldiers and musicians, displayed in a majestic hall.

To the Master Potter of Mycenae, I request the creation of a grand krater to be unveiled at a feast celebrating my successful campaign across the northern lands. This grand krater will be displayed at the center of my banquet hall and will be used to mix wine and water for my honored guests. I wish for this krater to be crafted in Mycenae, where the finest artisans create works fit for kings and warriors as myself. Rather than showing a conquest in battle, I want the vase to depict my triumphant return to Mycenae after securing new trade routes for my people. At the center of the krater I shall stand in a chariot holding a ceremonial spear. My figure shall be noticeably larger than the others surrounding me to emphasize my status. My chest should be broad, my posture confident, and my clothing richly decorated. Surrounding me should be a crowd of musicians welcoming the victorious procession along with rows of my disciplined warriors carrying along their shields and spears. Servants shall be carrying gifts and treasure while horses pull on my chariot. All secondary figures that are not me shall be smaller and similar in size and appearance so the attention is still focused upon me. Human figures shall follow the Egyptian canon of proportions, with heads and legs shown in profile while shoulders are facing in composite view.
