Maps is a short, broad-shouldered dwarf, built like someone who has spent decades hauling rope, cargo, and occasionally other dwarves out of trouble. He's thick through the chest and arms, with a sturdy, slightly barrel-shaped build rather than the exaggerated bulk of a dedicated warrior. He's middle-aged by dwarven standards, with a weathered face that suggests plenty of time at sea. His skin is tanned and rough from years in the sun and wind, and he has a crooked nose that was probably broken at least once. His eyes are a clear blue-gray, usually squinting slightly as though he's trying to judge the weather—or figure out which direction he's facing. 🧔 Beard & Hair His beard is his pride. It's thick, dark auburn, and chest-length, divided into several sturdy braids. Small brass rings, bits of old chain, and pieces of nautical hardware are woven into it. One braid has a tiny brass anchor tied to the end. His hair is the same color, kept shorter and pulled back so it doesn't get in his face during a fight. There are a few gray hairs beginning to show.
