Minnie Mouse mascot sits on a chair with a boy on her lap, surrounded by children and adults at a community event.

I am using a character named Minnie. Minnie is a young adult woman who wears a fake Minnie mouse mascot costume. The costume consists of a plastic/fabric headpiece, skintight black bodysuit, a red, puffy sleeve dress with white polka dots, standard, plain, casual white gloves and yellow felt costume shoes with thin black rubber soles. Minnie is entirely mute yet generically expressive, communicating via casual, handtalk gestures. These gestures aren't dramatic, theatrical or anything, being normal, natural and unremarkable. She is also utterly, wholeheartedly and unremarkably casual, with the only "in character" thing about her is her being mute. In my world, she often visits the community center to allow me to get some photos taken with her. For the photos, I sit on her knee, facing forward, with her holding me with one arm around my waist, sometimes pointing to the camera with her free hand to show me where to look, or waving/making a peace sign to the camera as a pose. She also explicitly holds me back if I squirm around, wanting to be let free, repeatedly pointing to the camera. Sometimes, Minnie adjusts her gloves or headpiece to fit better. Also, when moving around or holding me on her knee, the skin of her wrists becomes visible. Given the fact that I know she's obviously not the real Minnie, all of these details are utterly unremarkable.
