Top-down D&D fantasy dungeon map of a vast underground cavern called the Root Room. Large irregular natural cavern, roughly north-south oriented, designed as a peaceful sacred subterranean garden and workshop. Stone floor, rich dark earth, enormous ancient green roots covering portions of the walls and ceiling, natural organic shapes, subtle fantasy magic, quiet and serene atmosphere. No enemies, no characters, no monsters, no text, no labels, no grid. SOUTH: A single main entrance doorway in the southern wall, surrounded by thick intertwined roots. Several other closed root-covered doorways are visible along the outer cavern walls, some incomplete or missing colored vines, but all are closed. A shallow narrow stream enters near the southern entrance and travels north. Near the middle-south of the cavern it splits into a Y-shaped stream. CENTER: A magnificent mystical hourglass is the visual centerpiece of the cavern. About one foot tall, suspended between massive green roots and vines growing from the floor and ceiling. Glowing magical sand flows both upward and downward simultaneously, with some luminous sand escaping outside the glass. The hourglass gives off a faint magical glow but does not brightly illuminate the entire cavern. SOUTHEAST OF CENTER: Carefully tended nursery garden beds bordered by living roots. Rust-colored vines grow in stages from tiny sprouts to mature strange bug-like growths still attached to the vines. Keep this area orderly and cultivated. Voir plus
