The palace wall was made of large stones, and it was said the palace itself was nearly two hundred years old. The gate was beneath a stone arch, and was not entirely open, as one of the Iron gates were shut. The two brothers approached the gates three guards were present here but beneath the arch leaning against the gates stood another two men, they were both tall and both wore a set of chain mail. The one wore a blue surecoat that left bare his chainmailed arm. The banner of the kingdom, was embroidered upon his surecoat. His hand rested upon the hilt of his sword which he jolted back and forth rather violently. He bore a set of dark brown eyes, a small black beard, with a tinge of reddish hair in the center. His curly short black hair was visible, and not hidden beneath a helmet of any kind. Second fellow was slightly taller, he wore no surecoat. He too had black eyes, his hair was longer than that of his companion, though it did not reach past his ears. He also had a beard which was slightly longer than the other mans, and was entirely brown, and blown messy by the wind. He was leaning against the closed gate a weary look upon his sun darkened face as he spoke with the other man. Ararnold and Grenit moved towards the gate, and the black bearded man noticed them first and silently pointed towards the two, bringing them to his companions attention.
