Using a recycled wooden frame as a base, I arranged the found plastics into the shape of a large wave. The crest of the wave was built higher with lighter plastics (white and blue bottle caps, clear wrappers), while the trough was denser and darker, symbolising the accumulation of plastics in ocean gyres. I embedded small, hand-drawn images of local marine animals (hooded plover, fish, seals) within the wave, some partially obscured by the plastics to represent the threat to wildlife. Ver más
