I plan to design a shop that sells smart home devices as well as other smart devices related. Store design: My store's decision is kind of different from conventional retail stores. The major colors of my store is white, wood color, gray and black. Since my store sells a system of control home functions like lighting, security, heating, and entertainment via voice commands or smartphone apps, the retail is mainly designed to demonstrate the function of our products and to make the customer feel the convenience of these technologies. The store is relatively big and contains multiple “room-like” scenes that are implemented with smart home devices. Each room scene is enclosed by 2 walls that are 2 to 3 meters tall. There will be staff members or signs beside each little"room" to explain the function of each device. Within these walls are scenes we see in normal households such as the bedroom, kitchen, living room, however they are all implemented with smart household devices. All these scenes are for smart home devices that require two or more of our products working together to achieve its optimal function.The room style should vary to appeal to different customer preferences, they could even have sellings but the style should be relatively general. Since home gives people a sense of safety and relaxation, we should try our best to recreate this feeling using these small rooms in our store.
