They repeatedly drained his blood, injected him with artificial stimulants, and forced him to infect animals, criminals, and other kidnapped children. Whenever he resisted, they punished him by isolating him in sterile containment rooms and treating him as a biological weapon rather than a person. The experiments taught Kuroto to control his Quirk fully, but they also destroyed his trust in heroes and society. Several heroes had received reports about the facility, yet none arrived in time to save him. When Kuroto finally escaped, he discovered that wealthy sponsors and corrupt officials had protected the organization. To him, the hero system was not a symbol of justice.
