Make an image of something based on this: I think that the Nile river helped Egypt in the desert. I make that claim because within the text (source #1), It says “...the river provided good water, land for farming, and a simple way to travel.” This helped the Egyptians live and survive. Another piece of proof is after that sentence, it says “...It was also used to move heavy building materials across long distances.” Which also proves it used to move big items place to place. They traveled via boats in the Nile river. According to the text, it says "Traveling by boat was much faster than walking across hot sand. Large wooden boats were used to move huge stone blocks for building temples and giant monuments.” This proves they used boats to cross the Nile river and that it was important, making transportation quicker. Boats were also scarce, according to this source “Boats were also scarce–Egyptions believed souls needed boats to travel safely into the afterlife.” I conclude that the Nile River was very important for all of Egyptian civilization.
