Chapter 1, first impressions… Opal the Glaceon stared out the window at the Thunder storm. She and her sister, a Vaporeon named Ripple, just moved into a new forest in a big treehouse. Opal kept staring out the window. “Hey, Opal. You still like watching the rain, don’t you!” Ripple said. Opal didn’t answer. “I hope the new house stays up. Hee hee!” Ripple continued. “I hope there are people to prank here! Ha, ha!” Opal looked at Ripple. “Do you think I’ll fit in here?” she asked sadly. Ripple looked down. “I know Luminescent Lagoon was a pretty hard place to live. Things will be better here!” Then a mischievous smile came to Ripple’s face. “Now go unpack your room. As she settled in her reading nook, opening another book, she fell asleep. 30 minutes later… It was cloudy and cold, but it wasn’t rainy, so Ripple woke up Opal.
