Monster concept: The Measure A tall, unsettling creature whose body is constantly changing to resemble an imaginary âbetter versionâ of itself. Face: One side is smooth and beautiful; the other is distorted with acne, scars, wrinkles, and exaggerated imperfections. It keeps trying to make the âuglyâ side match the other. Eyes: Dozens of tiny eyes cover its head. Each eye shows a different person it compares itself to. Body: Its proportions are constantly shiftingâtoo short, too tall, too thin, too muscular, too heavyâbecause it can never decide what it is supposed to look like. Arms: One arm is unnaturally long and muscular while the other is small and weak, symbolizing comparison with other people's achievements. Chest: A cracked mirror is embedded in its chest. Instead of reflecting the monster, it shows an idealized version of whoever is looking at it.
