A dark, slimy monster with many glowing green eyes, sharp teeth, and bony claws emerges from a murky pool in fantasy art style.

The Abyssal Maw would primarily appear as a massive, glistening, dark-hued protoplasmic mass, constantly shifting and bubbling. Its base form, when not actively hunting or moving quickly, might vaguely resemble a colossal, hunched theropod dinosaur, but with no defined skeletal structure. Instead of scales or skin, its surface would be a viscous, iridescent black or deep purple slime. Numerous temporary, pulsating eyes of greenish light would constantly form and dissolve across its body, giving it an unsettling, all-seeing presence. When it moves, it would slither and undulate, leaving a trail of corrosive, faintly glowing residue. For combat or intimidation, it could rapidly extrude and retract multiple, powerful pseudopod-like limbs ending in razor-sharp, bone-like claws or crushing bludgeons.
