Vintage 1970s French concert poster illustration featuring a fictional musician with a microphone, massive speaker, and electronic equipment.

Vintage French underground concert poster, bizarre and absurd humor, late 1970s / early 1980s aesthetic, DIY music scene, surreal illustration. A ridiculous fictional musician performing dub music, wearing oversized sunglasses and an absurd vintage suit, standing next to an enormous old electronic drum machine and a gigantic bass speaker. The drum machine looks almost broken and has tiny sparks coming out of it. A weak, exhausted battery symbol is humorously integrated into the scene. Dub sound waves represented as strange psychedelic smoke, vibrating geometric shapes and wobbly lines. The whole scene feels slightly chaotic, funny, strange and deliberately cheap-looking, like an obscure French concert poster found in an old record shop. Retro offset printing, imperfect registration, faded ink, rough paper texture, slightly misprinted colors, hand-drawn details, screen-print aesthetic. Limited vintage color palette: dirty cream, faded red, mustard yellow, dark brown, muted turquoise and black. Strong graphic composition, vertical poster, large empty space at the top and bottom for adding concert information later, central illustration, bold vintage typography shapes but NO readable text, no logos, no modern objects, no photorealism. Funny, surreal, eccentric, slightly punk, slightly psychedelic, charmingly amateur, authentic French underground concert poster from 1979. See more
