I had a dream. I was in a hallway with plain white walls. The hallway sloped upward steeply at about 45 degrees. In the center of the floor was a stainless steel walkway. On each side of the walkway there was well kept shrubbery. The hallway was perhaps 50 feet in length and I found myself a little more than half way up. At the top the hallway joined with another hallway with a flat floor that was safe and easy to stand on. I was struggling to get to the top but I was slipping. I thought to myself, "grab the shrubbery". So I did and stopped my backward slide. For a moment I wondered, "How am I going to get to the top?" And I also thought, "I've been here before and never make it." At that moment I somehow realized that I was in complete control of this situation and that I didn't even need to slip or hang on to the shrubs. I knew that I could just "will" myself to the top. So I did and I was in a safe hallway with carpet. To my right was the new direction that I was about to go. I took a moment to look back down the sloped hallway and saw that the other end (at the bottom of the slope) opened to blue sky. I was at the top and safe with a new direction to go and explore.
