For this design we experimented with a slightly different camera arrangement and modified the layout of the phone’s sides and bottom area. The aim was to make the phone look cleaner and more balanced. However, after evaluating the design we realised that the phone still shares a lot of visual similarities with existing smartphones. The camera placement and the flat back panel are common features across many devices, which means the phone may not stand out enough in the market. We also noticed that this prototype does not include a ring/silent switch. This feature is useful for users because it allows them to quickly mute their phone.
