THe evening shadows were beginning to fall over the little house on the outskirts of Emmaus. Two children were anxiously peering through the window. “I just know something’s happened,” said the younger of the two. “Mum and Dad promised to be back before sunset.” “Don’t worry Dan” said his sister Abigail replied, “I’m sure that they’ll get here as soon as they can.” Abigail tried to hide her uncertainty from her younger brother.
