Two women construct a shelter from overturned lifeboats under a starry night sky. A sign above reads "CHARLOTTE AND KYLIES FOX DEN/HQ".

They found a dry patch of dirt and started stacking the lifeboats. They had four of them, so they laid out one to become their sleeping place on the dirt, then stacked the other 3 using a house shape. Two on the sides, one on the back, and one as a roof. The long wooden lifeboat seats were pried out with a stick and all of Kylie’s strength and the design of the crude base was everything Charlotte had gathered from years of textbooks. They lay a blanket hanging from the lifeboat roof and secured it to the rope using Kylie’s knot skills before using the seats Kylie had pried out and making a sign they engraved with the fishing knife, Charlotte and Kylie’s Fox Den/ HQ.
