A full-body ancient terracotta statue of a Janus bifrons deity, heavily inspired by the Winged Victory of Samothrace. The statue has magnificent, large feathered wings extended backwards, captured in a dynamic forward-leaning motion with a wind-blown draped chiton. The head is double-faced: the front face looking forward is a classical, soft Etruscan human face with an archaic smile; the back face looking to the past has the powerful, stylized features of an ancient wild bear with soft fur textures carved into the bronze.
