This one comes from someone who lived through it as a kid, at the Willows Apartments in Nebraska. She says she's not sure why nobody talks about that place, because for her, it was hell. She was nine or ten when she moved in with her mom, and something felt off almost immediately — her mother getting angrier, easier to set off. At first she chalked it up to stress; she also mentions she'd always been a kind of magnet for spirits since childhood. Then came footsteps at night, knocking, cabinets slamming shut. Every time she checked, her mom was sound asleep. One night, a friend slept over — their last night there, though they didn't know it yet. A dark shadow shot across the wall. Her friend saw it too. She ran to her mom crying. Her mom called a friend, and together they cleansed the apartment as best they could. They never went back. That same week, they found out the building had been built on a Native American burial ground, tied to a long history of deaths. The apartments, she says, are still haunting people who live there today. Mehr sehen
