A technical sketch diagram of a catapult's long lever mechanism with a green foot pedal, labeled "LONG LEVER for Lever Advantage".

This sketch needs to show the mechanism located below the main catapult structure. Structure (Black): Draw the catapult itself (base and pivoting arm) like the previous sketch, but keep it cocked back and holding still. Draw a small latch hook that is currently holding the arm. Mechanism (Green - The Foot Pedal): Draw a very long, flat rectangle on the floor/table level. This is the pedal. Add a pivot point at one end of the pedal (where it connects to the floor). Draw a linkage rod (a simple vertical line) connecting the other end of the pedal directly to the latch hook holding the arm. Motion (Dashed Arrows): Draw a large footprint icon or a block labeled "FOOT" above the free end of the pedal. Draw a downward dashed arrow on the pedal. Draw an upward arrow on the linkage rod, showing the latch being pulled up off the arm, releasing it. Label: Write "LONG LEVER for Lever Advantage." Mehr sehen
