Soil microorganisms are fundamental components of terrestrial ecosystems and play a critical role in plant growth, development, and productivity. This research project examines the diversity of soil microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, protozoa, algae, and nematodes, and analyzes their mechanisms of interaction with plants. It explores their contributions to nutrient cycling, plant growth promotion, pathogen suppression, and stress tolerance. Furthermore, the study evaluates the negative impacts of agrochemicals on soil microbial communities and discusses their importance in sustainable agriculture. The findings highlight that maintaining healthy soil microbial populations enhances crop productivity, reduces dependence on synthetic inputs, and promotes environmentally sustainable agricultural systems. Recommendations are provided for integrating microbial-based practices into modern farming strategies. Mehr sehen
