MO THE MUMMY MAKES A FRIEND MO the mummy lives in a pyramid. He’s nervous to make new friends and spends all day drawing by himself on the walls. One day he is surprised by a crocodile at the door to the pyramid. Mo is unsure and shy. This should have a Halloween feel with some dusty elements and cobwebs. Under the warm, evening golden light of an Egyptian sunset, a weathered sandstone doorway stands at the top of a dusty staircase. Peeking nervously from behind the half-open door is Mo, a small, wide-eyed mummy with lopsided bandages and a sketchbook tucked under his arm. His big, curious eyes are filled with surprise and a hint of fear. He’s nervous. His bandages are trembling. Standing just outside is Kaz, a bright green crocodile with a friendly, toothy grin. She wears a backpack bursting with colorful crayons and art supplies, one crayon in her claw like a peace offering. Her body language is hopeful but a little shy—one foot turned slightly as if she’s unsure whether to stay or go. The pyramid is set in the sand dunes with camels and palm trees in the distance. We should see animals likes scarab beetles and lizards and maybe a few bats. A few drawings flutter on the breeze—evidence of Mo’s secret hobby. The title should be near the top of the page in a dark colour - possibly some letters wrapped in bandages with a tiny spider hanging on one. Kaz the crocodile should be warm and lovely and friendly.
