A concept spacecraft with a large forward shield that is a solar shield as well as an aerobreaking device, then a command module, which would contain life support, hall effect thrusters, spacecraft controls, and living for 18 crew members in case of an emergency that could be used as a lifeboat. Next a corridor that runs from the command module to the engineering section that can be 3 meters across, for shipwide access. Surrounding the corridor are various propellant tanks, oxygen supply tanks, water tanks, waste tanks, and dry storage, connected by a lattice framework. Just behind the command module in the first corridor section, are two rotating wheels at a right angle from the ship's centerline. These wheels would need to be at least 30 meters in diameter, and each wheel would have six sections that would provide living quarters, galley, storage, medical, and labs in a .8 gravity enviroment. Midway down the centerline corridor is a main antenna dish structure, that also doubles as storage bays for two EVA pods, and docking for four lander spacecraft. At the end of the centerline corridor is the engineering section. This section contains two nuclear propulsion engines, three hall effect thrusters, a nuclear reactor for the ship, reserve batteries and fuel cells, and the ship's primary electrical and life support systems. This ship is NOT one round piece, but several sections connected by a centerline corridor. It is also not just one oval section, but again SEVERAL Mehr sehen
