Intercooler Mounting: - The intercooler is mounted on the right front frame rail, outboard to allow airflow to the engine fins. - Custom brackets secure the intercooler to the frame rail. Plenum and Ducting: - The plenum is positioned between the supercharger and the intake manifold. - Ducting connects the supercharger to the intercooler and the intercooler to the plenum. - Ducting is fabricated from aluminum or silicone hoses. Fuel System and Tuning: - The existing Mikuni HSR 45 carburetor is used. - Larger injectors may be needed, and the fuel pump may require upgrading. - The engine must be tuned for the increased airflow and boost.
