The first thing newcomers to God-Mall 109 tend to notice upon entry is the Agnostikoids. These are hulking 10-foot golems, dark violet in color, roughly humanoid in shape, and featureless except for a large, blank Cyclopean eye spot. Five Agnostikoids endlessly patrol the God-Mall corridors. They were created incapable of showing preference or discriminating among religions, broadly defined. They cannot speak and will not react to anything but the emergence of “trouble” in the facility, defined as non-religious, non-ritual violence, disturbance, theft, vandalism, or messiness. (Attacking an Agnostikoid counts as vandalism.) Agnostikoid bodies are composed of a rubbery, ultra-dense foam material that is extremely resistant to crushing, cutting, tearing, burning, and magic. Stabbing with a thin blade or point is possible, but since Agnostikoids have no internal organs damage thus incurred is negligible. The foam also tastes extremely bitter, so few creatures will willingly bite an Agnostikoid more than once. An Agnostikoid attacks by grappling a troublemaker and holding him face to face with its eye spot, which then emits a pacifying, stupefying energy. Mehr sehen
