LandscapeDesigner Project Congratulations! You've just landeda major job as a Landscapedesigner! Directions Aloneor with a partner you mustdesign a section of landscape for a client. The landscape can be any biome. Some examples couldbe an urban rooftop garden, a tropicaloasis garden in Hawaii,or a section of the BotanicalGardens. Each Project MUST contain the following At Least 5 Vascular Plants (3or which needtobe angiosperms,one must be a tree species, andthe last can be anything you wish!) At least 3 Edible Plants (one needs tobe a fruit) At least three Medicinal Plants (herbs count if they can be linkedto medicinal purposes) *Twoof The above plants must alsobe plants that are goodfor pollinators* (basically youshouldhave a minimum of 11 plants) What you must include in your project... ● AVisual aid(couldbe adrawing, computerdesign,ordiorama, etc) ● A fieldguideof the plants youhave chosen (First Page includingdescription of the biome youhave chosen and/or the client’s requests alsoincluding area dimensions andproject scale) ○ Each plant chosen must have itsown page in the fieldguide including... -ScientificName andCommon Nameof Plant -Picture (drawn or printed- HAS TOBE INCOLOR) -Characteristics goodfor your specific biome -plant survival requirements -at leastone fun fact about that specific plant -For the pollinator Plants - make sure toinclude which pollinator species they attract andsupport -For the Medicinal Plants explain theiruse both in the past and today, Mehr sehen
