Game board Objective The goal of the game is to turn your idea into a law by successfully moving through the government process. The first player to reach the end and have their bill signed becomes the winner. Setup Each player chooses a game piece and places it on the Start (Idea space. Shuffle the event cards and place them face down in a pile. Each player starts with 0 influence tokens (if you are using them). Decide who goes first by rolling the dice. The highest number goes first. How to Play On your turn, roll the dice. Move forward the number of spaces shown on the dice. Follow the instructions on the space you land on (draw a card or perform the event) Follow the instructions on the space you land on (draw a card or perform the event). After completing the event, your turn ends and the next player goes. Event Spaces Every space on the board contains an event. When a player lands on a space, they must follow the instructions written on the card or space. Events may cause players to: Move forward Move backward Lose a turn Roll again Gain influence Checkpoints The board contains three major checkpoints representing stages of the lawmaking process. Checkpoint 1 - Congress Approval Roll the dice: 1-2: Bill rejected. Move back 3 spaces. 3-4: Bill needs revision. Lose one turn. 5-6: Bill passes Congress. Continue forward.
