Fleshburrow Larvae resemble pale, bloated slugs roughly two feet long. Their soft bodies are covered in translucent veins through which black ichor slowly pulses. Instead of a mouth, the front of the creature splits open into a ring of 8–12 needle-like feeding tentacles surrounding a hardened drilling beak. The tentacles constantly writhe, tasting the air for the warmth of living creatures. Their eyes never developed. They hunt only through vibration and body heat. Mehr sehen
