Blue Bastion is Veyn Greypulse's customized IPS-N Tortuga at LL2—a hulking, corridor-crushing fortress of a mech that embodies his shift from drifting recon to immovable defender. It retains the Tortuga's signature industrial brutality: squat, wide-stanced quadrupedal legs built for stability and ramming, a low-slung torso armored like a walking bunker, massive shoulder pauldrons that can shield entire fireteams, and a cockpit "head" that's more armored dome than sleek visor. The frame is unmistakably IPS-N—rugged, utilitarian, no-nonsense plating riveted and welded for maximum abuse tolerance—but every surface carries personal, haunting modifications that make it feel alive with memory. Overall Silhouette and Color SchemeBase Color: Matte IPS-N storm-gray composite armor plates, weathered and scarred from frontier skirmishes. The gray has a subtle ashen undertone, echoing Cradle's forge-smog skies and Tiamat's fatalistic "ash" quips. Accents: Soft, muted azure blue (not neon electric—think twilight ocean or cracked holo-pendant glow under dim cockpit lights). This blue appears as faint, hand-applied lines, etched conduits, and subtle emitters—never overwhelming, always understated and melancholic.
