When Link finally got there, he could see Hyrule Castle far in the distance. He had a simultaneous feeling of relief and dread. He was glad his destination was in sight, but he clearly still had far to go. It was mid-afternoon now and Link was very tired. In a few more hours, it would begin to grow dark. He’d probably have to stay awake all night to keep the Stalchildren from catching him unawares. He decided the best course of action was to take a nap for a few hours so he’d have energy for the long night ahead. He found a cozy spot at the edge of the forest that he could use to doze off, and leaned his back against a tree. In only a matter of minutes, he had nodded off, and a sonorous buzzing sound rose from his nose. The sun had already set several hours before Link woke again. And he might not have woken then, if it weren’t for a strange floating light growing close to his face. He opened up his eyes to determine its source, and found a ghostly black figure, dressed in rags, swinging a lantern in his face. Link leapt up from his cozy place in the forest and sprinted into Hyrule Field. He glanced over his shoulder and saw the little ghoul slowly floating in his direction. Two more glowing flames joined the first, and Link realized he now had three ghosts chasing after him. He quickly searched his surroundings for a place to hide, but Hyrule Field was a completely flat, open landscape with not a building or tree in sight, beyond the edge of the forest. He was considering Mehr sehen
