Front Side: "Unit & Heritage" This side is dedicated to the 1-6 Infantry, set within the borders of Texas. Centerpiece: The 6th Infantry Regiment's coat of arms remains the central focus, placed squarely in the middle of the state's landmass. Text Layout: Instead of arcing, the text is now arranged in straight, horizontal lines to fit the shape. Above the crest, in the upper region of Texas (near the Panhandle), the words "1st BATTALION, 6th INFANTRY" are engraved.
